Rolando, i.e. Charles II, b. 29 May 1630, d. 6 Feb. 1685, King of England, King of Scots, and King of Ireland from 30 Jan. 1649 (retrospectively de jure) or 29 May 1660 (de facto) until his death. Son of Charles I who had been executed in 1649. Till 1660 – during the English Civil War – exiled in France. Succeded by his brother
