Remarks

Small and ugly looking by nature the duke troubles the French court with his pranks: He offers the ladies immense beauty spots; banned from French soil he makes his appearance as a Spanish peasant standing on top of a cart filled with Spanish soil at Versailles thus in accordance with the command - a position he uses to offer his further services. Stories of the court's jester without the coherence of a complex plotline or a definitive ending.
