Remarks

Philogamus (pro) and Antigamus (against) on the question whether one should marry. Considerations and reflections, including little histories, all leading to the conclusion that one should not marry if one disliked women or children in general, and that one should marry with an inclination towards both - not to gain the ultimate state of happiness (such a state does not exist) but to live a better life than one would do with mistresses and without children. Cf. also Wahrhaffte und eigentliche Beschreibung des Heut zu Tag unglücklichen Heyrathens (1706).link
