Translation with additional preface referring to audience and interest of the sujet. Information about the English political parties and their aims; Appendix with additional information: Comparison Sahra Jennings with Cromwell: both revolutionaries of lower extraction. The translation often follows closely the French edition, shortens and lacks a sensitivity for details. The second preface does not claim the work's fictionality. The non fictional "Continuation" seems justified as Sahra has now lost her power. Main topic: intrigues and Sacheverell case.
