Remarks

Chronology of the Persian ambassader's visit to Europe. Curious and leanred - especially interested in the peculiar character of the man who equals in his wrath all Arabian souvereigns as European novels presented them. Beginning with his preperations of the journey and ending with the 11 Oct. 1715. The journey is continued with Copenhagen and Moscow as next stops. Finally p.113 announcement of the romance Amanzolide which is expected to appear in French - it will be immediately translated into German (and was so in 1717 cf. Amanzolide oder des vor zwey Jahren in Franckreich gewesenen Persianischen Ambassadeurs Mehemed-Riza-Beg Liebes und Lebens-Geschichte Leipzig: M. G. Weidmann, 1717).link
