Lamm-Ducat, N├╝rnberg, 1700 minted to celebrate the new century, the year MDCC is hidden in the inscription.

History

Ducat gold coin minted according to the Reichsm├╝nzordnung of 1559 with a weight of 3.49 g and 986/1000 fineness. The silver equivalent is in Germany around 1700: 2 Reichsthaler species, 2/3 Reichsthaler currency unit of account or 4 Reichs-Gulden.
